Shalom, Yʼall!

BBYO International Convention (IC) 2017 is coming to Dallas from February 16 – 20, 2017 and BBYO North Texas Oklahoma will host a two-week event unlike any other beginning Thursday, February 9 when more than 150 global delegates arrive in town, and that culminates with our Movement’s biggest moment: BBYO International Convention 2017: 'Changing the Game'.

There are many ways for you, your family and the Dallas Jewish community to enjoy the best of what IC has to offer and get involved!

  • HOST Our global delegates and staff, from dozens of countries around the world, arrive between Thursday, February 9 and Wednesday, February 15 to experience Jewish teen life in the IC 2017 Host Region. Host families are needed to welcome our international teen leaders as they enjoy a fun-filled schedule before IC officially starts. Click here to sign-up.
  • VOLUNTEER 300+ volunteers are needed on-site and around Dallas in a variety of roles from Wednesday, February 15 through Monday, February 20. Opportunities for volunteering will be distributed across convenient shifts, and all volunteers are provided with full access to IC including signature events like Opening Ceremonies, IC Limmud and the IC Mega Event Concert. Click here to volunteer.
  • MARKET BBYO is seeking sponsorships, corporate partnerships and local connections to give all IC attendees a feel for Dallas' spirit and culture. If you’d like to be included in the IC vendor selection process, please email us with a description of your company’s services.  Selected companies will be featured in front of thousands of AZA and BBG teens, alumni, advisors, parents, professionals, partners and friends of BBYO from around the world. The IC Sponsorship Guide will be available very soon. Please email us if you'd like more information.
  • CELEBRATE Join us before and during IC for special events community-wide events, for all local teens and friends of all ages. Many events are open to all family members - including eighth graders - and some events are exclusive to Dallas area Jewish teens (regardless of BBYO membership!). Parents of all Dallas area teens can participate in IC via a 'Community Pass' which will be offered in the weeks ahead of IC.

In the coming months, we’ll be in touch regularly with updates about IC planning and opportunities for our community to come together to celebrate the world's largest gathering of Jewish teen leaders in 2017!

For more information about all of these opportunities, please contact Sherrie Stalarow, IC 2017 Host Region Director or the IC Leadership Team.
